David's passion for geology is memorialized at the newly commissioned Geosciences building at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.  Geology students can study and relax on the beautiful David S. Martino Terrace.  While David's dream of retiring in Durango and teaching at Fort Lewis never came to fruition, we are thrilled that through this dedication, David can continue to be a part of the things he loved the most:  Geology, Education, and the San Juan mountains.
