David Spicer Martino was an Exploratory Geologist. He committed his life passionately to the science of Geology, and to the exploration and development of Oil and Natural Gas. He was also a dedicated family man who was married twice and helped raise three children. David was always a champion of higher education, and continually encouraged young people to pursue a college education. One of his last true desires was to move to Durango and teach Geology at Fort Lewis.
